Reforge Media · UK & Ireland
Small business marketing agency for local services
You do not need to be on every marketing channel to make progress. Reforge Media helps service-based businesses get seen locally through Facebook and Instagram ads, content that shows their work, and simple automation that follows up enquiries.
Talk to OllieWho we work with
Our focus is businesses with a local customer base: phone repair shops, trades and other service businesses that depend on people nearby finding and choosing them. The homepage shows businesses we have worked with, including Cian's Tech World, Funky Fones, Mobiles Plus, Phone Care @ iKerr, Pocket Geek and Pickles Plastering.
Ollie founded Reforge while studying Business Management at Queen's University Belfast. Today the agency works with service-based businesses across the UK and Ireland. The work combines paid social advertising and enquiry handling rather than asking an owner to become a full-time marketer.
Three connected jobs, not a long list of channels
First, advertising puts your services in front of local people on Facebook and Instagram. Second, videos and posts show what you do and give customers something concrete to consider. Third, follow-up systems reply to enquiries, notify you and follow up automatically.
Those jobs belong together. Attention without a clear offer is difficult to turn into an enquiry. An enquiry without a response can become a missed job. Our service is designed around that journey, with a clear monthly update rather than a list of disconnected marketing tasks.
Should a small business hire an agency or do it itself?
Doing it yourself can make sense if you have the time to create content, manage campaigns, answer enquiries and review what happens. An agency is worth considering when those tasks take you away from delivering the service, or when you want one person responsible for bringing the work together.
An agency cannot replace a good service or create capacity you do not have. Before hiring one, be clear about which jobs you want more of, where those customers are and how quickly you can respond. Ask who does the actual work and what information you will receive each month.
How to compare small business marketing agencies
Compare the scope rather than just the headline price. Ask whether advertising management includes content, whether ad spend is separate, what happens to new enquiries and what a monthly report will show. Check the contract term and understand the stopping process before agreeing to ongoing work.
Look for evidence you can understand. Client names and genuine testimonial videos show who an agency has worked with, but they are not a guarantee of your results. Measured leads, booked work and revenue are different things; ask how each number is obtained. Reforge's approach is to document what we can track instead of promising a fixed revenue increase.
Ongoing marketing or a plan you can run yourself?
For ongoing work, we handle Meta ads, content and lead follow-up, with no minimum-term contract. Pricing depends on what your business needs, so email Ollie to discuss the scope before you decide.
If you own a Northern Ireland trades business and want a plan rather than ongoing management, the £97 Blueprint is a separate option. It includes a local competitor and search audit, a 45-minute call with Ollie and a written 90-day roadmap. You keep the plan whether or not you hire us; the £97 is credited against your first month if you ask us to run it. The Blueprint page checks suitability before showing available call times.
